Which took longer? – The Hungry Runner Woman

Which took longer?  Finishing the exercise or programming it into my watch?   I’m fairly certain it was the second possibility.

There was no approach I may bear in mind this one, so my watch telling me exactly what to do was very useful for every interval.

3 mile w/u, 10 x 2 min @ 6:10-6:20 tempo, 1 min @ 7:00-7:15 tempo, 1 min @ 540-5:55, 2 min simple, c/d.  I hit the splits, however goodness gracious, I didn’t really feel like doing this exercise.  Christmas break operating = additional credit score factors.  I’d have skipped it if I hadn’t had individuals assembly me there for it.

Fortunately, this week is a down week, so the mileage dropped, and this was our solely exercise.  We have now an 18 miler this week, however it is going to be achieved at a cruising tempo, after which subsequent week, the mileage and exercises will construct up once more.  I hit the jackpot with pals coaching for the Mesa Marathon as a result of it’s only a week earlier than my marathon.

We took Christmas down.
